My very first customer review, Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 8130
Here's a vlog post about my new BlackBerry purchased last month, I give it a 8 out of 10. I'm very satisfied with the camera and messaging services. If there's anything I missed, please let me have it in the comments! Thanks!

well it seems that we have some night owls on my blog.
The difference between the 8130 and the 8330 is that the 8130 has a suretype system meaning that each key has 2 letters assigned to it. So there's a big learning curve in adopting to the Pearl from a qwerty keyboard.
I ordered my BB Pearl from sprintrelaystore.com and am using the data-only plan. It is a steal because I am getting EVDO high speed internet access. And it allows for tethering to laptops at no extra charge.
One of my favorite things about the pearl is that it's so small and can easily fit in my pocket. It felt so weird transitioning from a sidekick to this because there was no bulky device in my pocket. it's very nice and very powerful for such a small device.

Hi. Your comments on the keyboard are pretty much what most of the deaf users say when they try the Pearl. That's why our bigger sellers are the 8830 and the 8703e through the Sprint Relay website. The 8130 is the Pearl you discussed here. The 8330 is the Curve and is not available yet. Did you order your Pearl from www.sprintrelaystore.com or did you go to a local retail store? Reason I ask is because you can ONLY get the Sprint Relay Data-Only plan through the above website. The Sprint Blackberry Curve is coming soon. I can understand your love for BB, and I have a 8830 WE ... which I love very much, and it's so wonderful that I can add applications as much as I wanted.
The keyboard is a qwerty aspect and I do have a big thumb, but it works real well for me. I switched from SK III, and I was about ready for LX, but decided to go for 8830 WE.
The lack of this unit, is a camera, which I don't really need, I have a very nice slr digital camera that does much much more than this, but of course at the spur of moment, we watch to take picture of something, then the slr isn't available, or left somewhere else, eh!?!

I purchased mine through Sprintrelaystore.com at least two months ago ... I use data only plan... it's a super duper unit... even works with my laptop, having internet connected. I am now working on trying to see if VP would work (only through laptop). I am not just limited to this exploration, I am into many more!!
